E3 2011: Ridge Racer announced for Vita

Past all the glitz and glam it appears Namco Bandai has announced Ridge Racer for the PlayStation Vita. It’s no surprise really, as there has been a Ridge Racer title with every single PlayStation console/handheld launch. What’s surprising is that, rather than being a port of Ridge Racer: Unbounded, this game will be developed internally, and by part of Cellius, a studio Sony and Namco Bandai put together, and is the home of Ken Kutaragi – the father of PlayStation.

Japanese magazine Famitsu has since posted up concept images of the game.
